Mulberry Scotchgrain Tote — Black & Tan

Scotchgrain is having a moment. Mulberry has brought it back into the current collection with its own dedicated edit and the original vintage pieces, made properly in England during the Roger Saul era, are being collected again.

This is one of those originals. Black Scotchgrain body with tan leather trim and rolled handles, brass hardware, and the embossed Mulberry tree to the front. It is the look everyone is currently paying new season prices for, in the version that started it.

Condition
Honest vintage condition, entirely consistent with its age. The tan leather trim and handles have darkened slightly in places. There is scuffing to the base and the hardware is scratched. The Scotchgrain body is clean and intact with no cracking or peeling, which is the thing to check on these and the reason many do not survive. Interior clean and usable. A genuine vintage Mulberry, in the material of the moment, for less than a hundred pounds.
