What We're Looking For

Authentic designer handbags in good to excellent condition. We currently focus on brands like Chanel, Fendi, Gucci, Dior, and similar if you're not sure your bag fits, submit it anyway and we'll let you know.

Commission & Payment

We work on a simple consignment model. Once your bag sells, we first deduct the selling costs like marketplace/platform fees (e.g. eBay) and postage from the sale price. You then receive 75% of what's left, and Found & Worn keeps 25% to cover authentication, photography, listing and selling. There's no upfront cost to you: you only pay (via the commission) once your bag actually sells, and you're never charged more than your share of the actual costs involved in selling it.

Worked example: Your bag sells for £200. Marketplace fees and postage come to £30, leaving £170. You receive 75% of that (£127.50) and Found & Worn keeps 25% (£42.50).

  • Listing period: 90 days from the date of your agreement.
  • Payment: within 7 days of your bag selling.
  • Ownership: your bag remains yours until it sells we never buy stock outright through this route.
  • Price changes: only with your written agreement.
  • Selling costs deducted before the split: marketplace/platform selling fees (and any promoted listing fees, where used) and postage/packaging.

FAQ

Do I have to pay anything upfront?
No there's no cost to submit or list your bag. We only take our commission once it sells.

What if my bag doesn't sell?
We'll be in touch before the 90-day listing period ends to arrange return or agree an extension.

How much will I actually receive?
75% of the sale price after marketplace fees and postage are deducted, not 75% of the full sale price. See the worked example above under Commission & Payment.

How do you decide the price?
We research recent sale prices for similar bags in similar condition and suggest a price we both agree on before listing.

Can I say no to the price you suggest?
Yes nothing is listed until you've agreed the price and signed the consignment agreement.
